DeMar DeRozan thanks LeBron James for coming to Drew League

A four-time NBA champion and four-time Finals MVP has nothing left to prove. Even if he ruled the NBA for the past 15 years, LeBron James will have detractors until the end of his career.

I played in it, and when I woke up and saw that line around the Drew League, stretching to the corner, it took me back to the early 2000s, like we were in a high school gym,” he added. “Seeing the kids that were there and getting to see LeBron James come play in Compton, that’s something that can’t be beat. The atmosphere was one of a kind, it was special. At times I looked around and saw kids, just the smile and excitement on their faces. It’s something they’ll remember forever and that’s the most important thing behind it.”
