T.J. Warren aims for a return within a week

NBA – The winger, who comes out of an offseason, has not yet played with his new team.

He had already been seen two weeks ago at practice on three-on-three drills. Since then, TJ Warren has returned to five-on-five and is preparing to return to competition. According to Shams Charania, the wing should even make his debut with the Nets next week, December 2, at the reception of the Raptors.

Brooklyn will thus recover one more offensive weapon. The former Suns and Pacers player, who has not played an official game since December 2020, had injured his right foot (arch) and especially his left foot (double stress fracture).

Aged 29, he was coming out of an incredible period in the Orlando “bubble” with the Pacers a few weeks before his injury: 26.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals on average, at 54 in shooting, 48% in 3-pointers and 92 ith free throws!

It remains to be seen what his role could be in a Nets team that is very dense on the outside and lacks resources on offense.
