2023 NBA Draft Tiebreaker Results

With four weeks to go before the lottery, scheduled for May 16, the NBA has conducted the draws to determine which teams finished with the same record. In the race for the top spots in the draft, that may matter. More than to have a chance to select Victor Wembanyama.

– The Rockets win the tiebreaker over the Spurs. Houston and San Antonio still have 14 th chances to select 1st, but the Rockets can’t go any lower than 6th, while the Spurs can’t go any higher than 7th.

– The Pacers win the tiebreaker over the Wizards. Indiana has a 6.8 th chance to select 1st, against 6.7% for the Wizards.

– Bulls win the tiebreaker over the Thunder. Chicago has a 1.8 th chance to select first, compared to 1.7% for the Thunder.

– The Heat win the tiebreaker over the Warriors and Clippers. Miami will select 18th. The Warriors and Clippers at 19th and 20th respectively.

– The Suns win the tie-breaker over the Nets. This doesn’t change anything since the Nets own the Suns’ pick following the transfer of Kevin Durant. They will select in 21st and 22nd positions.

– The Grizzlies win the tie-breaker over the Cavaliers. Memphis will select in the 25th position, while Cleveland’s 26th pick belongs to Indiana.
